Gerry S. Weidema is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in offering individuals and closely-help businesses accounting and tax planning services. As a native of Wilemstad, Curacao, Dutch Antilles, she immigrated to the United States in 1969, and became a citizen in 1980. Gerry started her company in 1981, after obtaining her CPA license. In 1993 Ellen M. Lavin became a partner in the firm of Weidema and Lavin CPA',PA.

In 1976, she completed with honors, an Associate's Degree in accounting from UNH, she is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1979. In 1985, she received her Master's in Taxation (MST) from Bentley College.

In 1996, Gerry completed the Certificate Program in Financial Planning at Merrimack College and she is currently a Certified Financial Planner.

In 2014 the firm merged and now operates offices in Hampton and Portsmouth under the name of Weidema, Lavin, Grott, and Riendeau PC.

She was a board member of TDBank (USA) where she was the chair of the Audit Commitee. She also served on the board of the Joan G. Lovering Center in Greenland, the New Hampshire Society of CPAs' and the UNH Alumni Board.

Gerry resides in Stratham, NH with her husband Joseph Simeone.
